This Protosphyraena sp. tooth is 85 million years old. Found in the Niobrara Chalk Formation in Lane County, Kansas. This is a whole rostral tooth from a rare extinct swordfish-mimic, measuring 26.6x10.0x4.5mm. The tooth has fully intact enamel and has not been restored.
